Accomplishments

Elhem Mekhaled made her debut as a super featherweight (130 lbs) and proved to be a talented prospect in her early days. She remained unbeaten for years while deftly dispatching her opponents. She won the WBC interim 130-pound title in 2019 by successfully beating her opponent, Danila Ramos by unanimous decision (UD).

Mekhaled faced her toughest competition in Delfine Persoon who soundly beat her by unanimous decision. Despite her loss, she was offered the opportunity to redeem herself against unified super featherweight champion Alycia Baumgardner in February of 2023, but stumbled upon a UD loss instead.

Following two dominant wins in 2023 and 2024 at lightweight (135 lbs), Mekhaled would move up another division to challenge former super lightweight (140 lbs) undisputed champion Chantelle Cameron for the vacant WBC interim 140-pound title. Mekhaled ended up losing the title bout by unanimous decision.

Boxing Style

Fighting out of the orthodox stance, Elhem Mekhaled is well-rounded and capable of fighting backwards and frontwards. Though she doesn’t necessarily stand out in any department, she is one of the most well-balanced fighters in her division when it comes to the fundamentals of boxing.
