Japanese fighter Takuma Inoue and Filipino Jerwin Ancajas are slated to resume their match next year after its postponement from the original date of November 15. The new date for their event, where the two fighters will headline, is February 24, 2024.

Takuma Inoue (18-1, 4 KO’s) will defend his WBA bantamweight world title for the first time since winning it on April 8th this year against Jerwin Ancajas (34-3-2, 23 KO’s). The Kokukigan Arena in Tokyo, Japan, will host this event.

Ancajas, a former world champion at super flyweight, will be fighting at bantamweight for the first time since roughly a decade. His previous fight was a match at super bantamweight where he recorded a KO victory over Colombian opponent Wilner Soto (23-15, 12 KO’s).

Supporting the card will be the co-main event between Mexican fighter Alexandro Santiago (23-3-5, 14 KO’s) and Japanese boxer Junto Nakatani (26-0, 19 KO’s), also taking place at bantamweight. This fight will feature Santiago defending his WBC bantamweight title.

Japanese former flyweight world champion Kosei Tanaka (19-1, 11 KO’s) and Mexican contender Christian Bacasegua Rangel (22-4-2, 9 KO’s) will compete for the vacant WBO super flyweight title, which Nakatani will relinquish to make way for his title fight against Santiago.

Filipino fighter Jonas Sultan (19-6, 11 KO’s) and Japanese contender Riku Masuda (3-1, 3 KO’s) will also feature on the undercard of the event in a super bantamweight match.
