The second issue of last year’s 5 vs. 5 event, which pitted the two British promotions of Matchroom and Queensberry Promotions against each other, is set to continue this year.

According to The Ring, both Matchroom chairman Eddie Hearn and Queensberry chairman Frank Warren have each submitted list of 10 fighters set to participate in the event.

Notably, the ultimate decision of the five fighters that will face each other falls on Riyadh Season head and General Entertainment Authority (GEA) chairman Turki Alalshikh who will determine the exact 5 vs. 5 fights set to come in motion later this year.

The first edition of the 5 vs. 5 event also featured Matchroom and Queensberry and saw the latter win a clean sweep on June 1st in 2024 as all of Queensberry’s fighters won their respective bouts.
