British Welterweight contender Conor Benn has recently reached out on Twitter with a message stating that his team had uncovered what they needed to prove his innocence. Though Benn (21-0, 14 KO’s) wasn’t specifically punished or cleared of alleged drug use prior to his fight with Chris Eubank Jr. (32-2, 23 KO’s), he did relinquish his license with the British Boxing Board of Control due to multiple reasons, primary amongst them their unwillingness to extend his professional boxing license.

In his Tweet, Benn expressed the principles he stood by and grew up in while maintaining his innocence. He also left a message for those that alleged him to have used performance-enhancing drugs,
‘I’ll forgive but I won’t forget.‘ Was Benn’s message to the people that ‘had thrown dirt on his name’.
