Accomplishments

Demsey McKean soon grew his name in the professional ranks through his domination nationally. He won several national titles early on, and won the national Frank Bianco Cup where he beat future UFC heavyweight Tai Tuivasa in the final match.

He has further progressed up the ranks by staying active, and despite not facing top opposition of his weight class, he would come to win several more mid-tier titles to help boost his reputation as a worthwhile contender in the division.

In 2023, McKean received the opportunity to face IBF heavyweight interim champion Filip Hrgovic for his title on August 12th. McKean ended up losing to Hrgovic by knockout in the 12th round.
