Accomplishments

Despite suffering a MD loss in her second match, Erika Cruz went on to prove her worth as a professional boxer in the Featherweight division as she racked up win after win to launch an unbeaten winning streak.

Erika Cruz conquered her first world title (WBA) by upsetting Jelena Mrdjenovich in a technical decision win where she largely retained the upperhand throughout most of the bout.

Cruz She was set to unify her title with featherweight legend Amanda Serrano in February of 2023, and would also gain the opportunity to become undisputed. However, she was not a match for the veteran featherweight and succumbed to a unanimous decision loss (UD) that resulted in her losing her title.

In September, Erika Cruz returned to the ring to fight a division below at super bantamweight where she successfully won her match against Melissa Odessa Parker by unanimous decision.
