Japanese stars Kenshiro Teraji and Junto Nakatani are all set to continue their amazing unbeaten forms on September 18th where they both will be defending their world titles. Nakatani, in particular, will be defending his WBO super flyweight title for the first time after recently winning it back in May. The event will be held at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan.

31-year old Kenshiro Teraji (21-1, 13 KO’s) is currently the WBA and WBC junior flyweight champion and has defended both of his titles twice beforehand. He will be matched with South African contender Hekkie Budler (35-4, 11 KO’s) who is a two-division world champion having held titles at 105 lbs and 108 lbs.

25-year old Junto Nakatani (25-0, 19 KO’s) won his WBO world title against Australian contender Andrew Moloney (25-3, 16 KO’s) when the belt had been left vacant due to Kazuto Ioka’s (30-2-1, 15 KO’s) decision to relinquish it in order to face Joshua Franco. A recent addition to the ranks of world champions, Nakatani is still unbeaten but will be tested against Mexican contender Argi Cortes (25-3-2, 10 KO’s).

The two Japanese fighters have recently built a large following in their home country of Japan after several showstopping performances. Though not as revered as Inoue, the two fighters are currently considered to be one of the best fighters in Japan and their popularity will only continue to grow if they maintain their winning records in their upcoming match on September 18th.

Aside from these two budding superstars, former Japanese kickboxing/MMA star Tenshin Nasukawa (1-0, 0 KO’s) will be competing in his second professional boxing match against fellow Mexican prospect Juan Flores Aceves (9-0, 7 KO’s).

American junior flyweight contender Anthony Olascuaga (5-1, 3 KO’s), who last fought and lost to Kenshiro Teraji in April of this year, will also be featured on the card and will be facing high-ranking Filipino contender Giemel Magramo (28-3, 23 KO’s).
