Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KO’s) and Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KO’s) are due to head into their second bout on July 19, though this time the stakes are much higher as their upcoming bout will be an undisputed heavyweight match ― as Usyk and Dubois each hold world titles of their own. The iconic Wembley Stadium in London will be hosting the upcoming fight card that will be headlined by both fighters, with the event further set to be promoted by Queensberry Promotions.
Unified [WBA, WBC & WBO] champion Usyk, 38, last came out victorious by technical knockout (TKO) against the 27-year old IBF champion Dubois during their 2023 match ― which was not without controversy. With the disputed low blow that arguably knocked Usyk out still weighing over the fight’s head even two years from now, the rematch between the two will be putting the conversation on who’s the current best heavyweight to bed as the two fighters head into the second heavyweight (200+ lbs) undisputed bout of the modern four-belt era.
Despite the magnitude of the fight, New Zealand heavyweight contender and WBO interim champion Joseph Parker (36-3, 24 KO’s) will feel slighted after having been within reach of fighting for a world title against Dubois before the British fighter’s withdrawal from their February 22 bout halted his opportunity.
Following the withdrawal, Parker looked to be within reach of now facing Oleksandr Usyk after the WBO ordered the two to fight, but this potential bout has also now been cancelled in lieu of the recently announced Usyk-Dubois II fight. The weeks prior to this announcement had already been filled with noise surrounding discussions of a rematch between Usyk and Dubois.

Notably, no rematch clause has been reported to have been included in the Usyk-Dubois II bout, signifying Parker could get an opportunity to face the winner ― with the WBO having already confirmed that Parker would remain the WBO heavyweight mandatory and be next-in-line to face the undisputed winner.
