One of America’s best female fighters in Seniesa Estrada continued her unbeaten reign as a fighter with a unanimous decision win over Tina Rupprecht which saw her become a unified champion for the first time of her career. The women’s Minimumweight champion dominated in the co-main event that saw all of the judges score the fight 100-90 in her favor, indicating that she had won every single round of the ten-round match. The event, headlined by Jose Carlos Ramirez facing Richard Commey, was held at the Save Mart Arena in Fresno, California of the United States on March 25th.

While both fighters were active from start to finish with Tina Rupprecht (12-1-1, 3 KO’s) looking to make an impact on the inside, Seniesa Estrada (24-0, 9 KO’s) outclassed the German fighter through her activity, punch variety and effectiveness in the ring. Though it did look like Rupprecht won at least one or two rounds, she had virtually no answer for Estrada.

Rupprecht never shirked from moving forward if possible, but found Estrada’s defense either too tight, or Estrada much too active to break through. Estrada, on the other hand, seemed to have the edge in nearly every round; for every time she was hit, she hit Rupprecht more or harder, and for everytime Rupprecht seemed to saddle back, Estrada waded forward to set home her intent to beat the former WBC champion.

The two made for a highly-entertaining bout in the second-lowest weight class in the women’s division as they banged at each other whilst highly-aware of what was at stake, and what could be won. After twelve rounds, it was Estrada who collected the victory by unanimous decision through her impressive work rate and skills which saw Rupprecht almost completely outstruck by the American fighter.

With her latest victory, Estrada also won the WBC Minimumweight title that belonged to Rupprecht, and became a unified champion in the process; the first time of her career that she has done so. Seniesa Estrada has already set forth her intention to become undisputed following her win against Tina Rupprecht.

“I want to tell the other champion at 105 pounds that I am whooping you next! I’m the best in the division and I know it, and I want to prove it by being undisputed!” Estrada said confidently in the post-match interview, alluding to current WBO & IBF world Minimumweight champion Yokasta Valle (28-2, 9 KO’s), who had been the division’s only unified champion before Estrada’s victory.
