Liam Paro and Andy Cruz will join the Matchroom-promoted card headlined by Devin Haney and Regis Prograis on December 9th, adding to an already significant event set to take place at the Chase Center in San Francisco, United States.

Australian super lightweight Liam Paro (23-0, 14 KO’s) will defend his regional WBO Global title against American contender Montana Love (18-1-1, 9 KO’s). Love’s last match against Steve Spark (16-3, 14 KO’s), also Australian, ended with Spark winning by disqualification after Love threw Spark over the ropes.

Liam Paro was originally scheduled to face one of the main event fighters, Regis Prograis (29-1, 14 KO’s), but he suffered an unfortunate injury during training, preventing the title bout.

Montana Love presents a challenge to Liam Paro, given his status as a top contender at 140 lbs. Both fighters have been out of the ring for over a year, but Paro holds an advantage with his unbeaten winning streak, especially considering Love’s last match.

Another addition to the fight card is Cuban lightweight prospect Andy Cruz (1-0, 0 KO’s), who will face American lightweight Hector Tanajara (21-1-1, 6 KO’s). Tanajara has significantly more professional experience than Cruz and has fought some notable opponents in the lightweight division.

Despite the experience gap, Andy Cruz, with a successful amateur career and the endorsement of promoter Eddie Hearn, appears ready to be put to the test.

Additionally, the event will feature a significant women’s fight, with Ebanie Bridges (9-1, 4 KO’s), the IBF bantamweight champion from Australia , taking on fellow Australian Avril Mathie (8-1-1, 3 KO’s), who is moving down from super bantamweight after suffering her first career loss.

These additions enhance the appeal of an already noteworthy event, headlined by Devin Haney (30-0, 15 KO’s), and bring more intrigue to the fight card as Haney tests his abilities against Regis Prograis while moving up in weight.

With the potential emergence of a new force in the 140 lbs division, the inclusion of Liam Paro, Andy Cruz, and Ebanie Bridges adds to the excitement and anticipation surrounding this fight card.
